Please join Academy of Friends as our guest at a very special event. On Thursday, May 9, 2013, the Board of Directors of Academy of Friends will present Bay Area HIV/AIDS agencies with the money raised over the past year and our annual Oscar Night Gala.
We will also be announcing the winner of this year's Kile Ozier Founders Award. The Kile Ozier Founders Award, named in honor of the founder of Academy of Friends, is presented annually by the Board of Directors of Academy of Friends to honor those who exemplify the spirit of volunteerism in the fight against HIV/AIDS. The winner designates a Bay Area HIV/AIDS agency to receive a $2,500 Academy of Friends grant.
Program for the evening:

7:00 PM - Introductions/Check Presentation
8:00 PM - Door Prize Drawing
8:30 PM - Event concludes
Hors d'oeuvres will be provided by our host, CLIFT San Francisco along with a selection of wines and cocktails.
This event is open to the Underwriters, Corporate Sponsors and Volunteers who supported Academy of Friends in our 2013 Gala Season, without whose support this would not be possible. Representatives from each of our beneficiaries, AIDS Community Leaders and the press are also invited to join us.
Everyone is welcome. We would hope that you will consider supporting Academy of Friends and our mission to continue raising money for HIV/AIDS Services for this community as long as the need endures. We have distributed over $8.5 million to HIV/AIDS Services since we began in 1980.
